Glazed Doors

A glazed internal door borrows daylight from one room into another, which is why it is the usual choice for hallways, landings, kitchens and any room with no window of its own. Glazing is supplied factory-fitted and toughened where the pane sits within the critical zone, so no separate glazier is needed on site.

Choosing the glass

Clear glass gives the most light and no privacy, listed in clear glazed doors. For bathrooms and studies choose frosted glazed doors, reeded glass or tinted glass, which pass light but break up the view.
